Opeluboy, You're right. Dang, I wish I had included "Yes, Bush really is that crazy". Maybe the thought of that was too terrifying to consider.

Apologies for the lack of documentation on the allowed tags in our comment system and the breaking of long URLs. I'm working on incorporating documentation into this space. Currently, words over 80 characters are broken in two parts to avoid breaking the layout. I have an alternative fix coming soon though. Thanks for your patience everyone!

Hello forum, I have closed several comments from admarshall that appeared to be attempted spam or form hijacking. Although several of the comments from admarshall do not appear to be spam, repeated complaints from other readers have compelled us to close these comments for the sake of an open and understandable discussion. Thanks for your understanding.

Sorry about the faux Chicago locations. I took them out.

We'll add documentation for the basic html tags to the system soon. There was a problem with comment spammers using the system to boost their search engine rankings. It's straightened out now, but I haven't added the automatic html parsing back until I can test it a bit more. I see rabbit has figured out some of the allowed tags. Thanks for your patience.

Some posts have been removed from this thread for a violation of our terms of service. Abusive language, outright threats and a constant disregard for basic respect forced us to remove all posts from Rabbitvoz. Apologies for the misunderstanding on this thread. The abusive posts were on a separate thread, so I've reinstated the posts on this thread until an editor can decide which posts should be removed. Thanks for your understanding.

Unfortunately, In These Times does not have adequate staff to moderate discussions. Due to numerous complaints we are closing the discussion on this article. Thanks for your understanding.

OK, after a reasonable request to have this thread opened back up for a limited amount of time, we've decided to let people have their final say before closing the door. This forum will close tomorrow night at midnight, so if you have something to say, say it now.

MiddleRoad- I checked the ip addresses for all the posts under your name and they're all the same, 67.162.37.132. We require registration to prevent people from posting under other people's names. Has anyone been using your computer without your knowledge? Thanks for posting, Seamus Holman, ITT Webmaster

Many apologies for the difficulties in dealing with an imposter on these forums. The user posting under false names has been identified by IP address and will be reported to his/her ISP. This person has posted hundreds of messages posing as various people. Honestly, where does someone like this come from and why do they have so much free time? Again, sorry for the difficulties.

We purged several hundred comments from one poster posing as various people in this forum and actually having long running discussions with him/herself. Apologies for the confusion this may cause in some posts responding to this troll. To resolve the situation, we've been forced to require registration before posting, along with a real email address so we can hold people accountable. Additionally, we are in communication with the individual's ISP to have their identity exposed so that those who feel they have been slandered can take appropriate action.

Thanks, Seamus Holman Webmaster

It has come to our attention that a reader in these forums has pretended to be "Scott" and "Bernie Ellis". We have recorded their IP address and restricted access to their account. However, since this user is using a dial up connection from Earthlink in Pasedena, they will regain access to our site when Earthlink gives out a new IP address to this account. We take fraudulent postings seriously at In These Times, as they severly diminish the quality of discussions. We also prefer to maintain an open forum for discussion. Please be respectful of our other readers. We have not …

Yeah, I think I missed the target with that post. I spent a few hours reading up on all the fraud stories, and started getting a false sense of hope that somehow we could go back and reverse time. I personally am hoping to see a better voting system evolve before the next election. There's a lot of different ways to get to that goal and my point was that I don't think saying the election was stolen is necessarily the best path towards that goal. But maybe it is, at least it keeps the issue in front of people and …
