I am a 38yr old AA with a lovely wife and daughter. Both of us were raised in poverty, I on welfare in the Bronx. Today, we are middle class and are able to provide things for our daughter that we never ever had. I do agree with everyone here that points out the importance of hardwork, morality, determination, ethics and education. But another that attribute is perservearance.
