The American left has ignored the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Day of Action Against Poverty as well as international activities promoting the right to decent jobs with decent pay. McCain is not only a warmonger; he is a war criminal. To evade discussing this only plays into the hands of the neoliberal, conservative agenda. Dropping bombs on the innocent Vietnamese people who never harmed anyone as they scurried for cover hardly is an action one can describe as "heroic;" it certainly needs to be decribed adequately.
