Another reason for legalization and telling the truth about pot: Lying about marijauna to kid's is extremely dangerous. I'm 24 so I can tell you for a fact that all the lies I was told about pot made me and everyone I knew, at least back in highschool, second guess any of the information we were given about other drugs. On tv, right, there's one ad that tells you not to smoke cigarettes because it causes cancer, which is, of course, very true and another ad which tells you that smoking pot will make you get your fist stuck in your …

Stalkers have just gotta hear about this. No more following their victims around from place to place, enduring countless hours memorizing their schedules. Now, for a mere chunk of change and knowing a cell phone number, they can get a full print out of all they need to know! Sarcasm aside, privacy does not just help bad guys avoid detetion, it's also important to protect us from the bad guys. There is NO way these records should be open to the general public for ANY fee... well, any records beside's Karl Rove's ;)

I do get outrage fatigue. Sometimes I just want to give up on the human race in general. It seems like most people are self centered, self serving and thick headed. I don't know what's worse, someone who sticks there head in the sand and doesn't pay attention at all, or people who do pay attention but play the right or left game. I have to point out that when Giuliani wanted to ignore the constitutional right to freedom of expression and close down that art exhibit at the Brooklyn Art Museum (with the poo painting of the Virgin Mary) I was NOT happy with him. I do have to say though, that Giuliani took pride in his work and worked hard and whatever he directly did or did not do, New York City, in general, got into better shape under his guidance. I respect that.

Yeahhhh, so... NUCLEAR ENERGY... that was the topic right? Heh, heh ;) The Bush administration was so willing to invest billions of dollars into a theororetical scientific program run by Lucent (using the old Bell Labs name to gain credibility) to create smaller than microscopic things that might, some day, make rope stronger... AND YET WON'T INVEST A FEW BILLION IN HELPING SCIENTISTS DEVELOPE BETTER, CLEANER, ENERGY SOURCES. Gee, what's wrong with that picture?
